Ok Im actually getting to the build, 66 lemans not going to clone I like the clam shell tail lights, have an LS2 will get new pistons rod upgrade and cam, t56 six speed tanny is being upgraded with 31 spline, new shift forks and reverse upgrade. Rear end is being built strange with S loc posi, 35 spline, 3.90 gears, and disc brakes. Just got done installing mini tub on frame this was my first fab job the neighbor is a welder and gave me tips. This will allow 315 30 18s in back. Brought the body down from the house to my new shop it has been sitting in garage for 6 years waiting to get started. Test fitted the frame with mini tub all is good.

Nice, have to agree with you. For the 66 year I prefer the clamshell lemans taillights to the three stack 66 gto ones. Keep working at it.

Waiting on rear end to be built and tranny is on its way, started seat installation fabrication, built pockets to adapt to the original rear seat mount so I can still use the release function works perfect and the drop in mount I made fits perfect into frame cross member, started front seat installation moved front brackets and built rear bracket, put drives seat in jumped it to battery to test works awesome. seats will eventually get reupholstered to black.

more updates split my rear inner fender left 3 inches from the seam then used my 4 door donor car inner fenders to extend for mini tub, mocked up tranny mounts for the t56 used a tranny brace from a 66 lemans station wagon that i got for free, cut it and removed 2 inches from each side flipped the mount and tacked every thing together to get my 3 degrees pitch. installed transmission hump, getting ready to blast and paint frame this weekend. All new suspension parts coming form ABC performance soon.
