Need shifter help!

I'm planning out the shifter for my C10 project. I want to run a stock style of shifter on my 4L60E, and I was wondering if 4T60E shifters will work? It would open up my options quite a bit.

Do all GM 4 speed automatics use the same settings for shifting?

They're both cable operated, so worst case even if the patterns are flipped 180* you'd have to make a bracket or modify the shift arm. Pretty basic mods. :)

Do you know if the "locks" are in the same position? I am curious if the cables pull the same amount to get in each gear, I would hate to buy a shifter and find out they set in between or some similar problem. I would assume all 4 speed overdrives are the same, but you know what happens when you assume!

I would also assume so, but that's where modifying the shift arm would come into play. Might pay to go to a junk yard if you have one nearby and check it out.
