Side Mirrors ( pissed off ) always moving ... 1966 GTO

Guys I know this may not be techical, I have a 66 GTO and want to retain the side mirrors, but just like most guys these things never keep there position is there anything I can do to make them hold permanantly in position ? Anything I can spray in them ?

I use red loctite on the ball. Use a few drops on the ball. Position the mirror and let it dry. It will stay until you bump it.
