My '69 El Camino currently has a 7/8" front sway bar on it. Looking to buy a rear bar and I like Hellwig's since it mounts to the frame instead of the control arms. That's a 1 1/8" adjustable bar, so the front will need an upgrade as well. What do you guys recommend that would match well with the Hellwig rear?
p.s. I'll also be upgrading to tubular control arms in the rear when I install the sway bar.

Hellwig makes a front bar, why not go with that?

I have a hellwig 1 1/8 hollow front bar, and thier pro-touring rear bar, both are great for the $$$. I think I got them through amazon for the best prices. HTH

Good call on Amazon, they have the rear bar for only $216.
Looks like I'll go with a 1 1/4" Hellwig in the front.

Is anyone running the 1 1/4" front and 1 1/8" rear set up? I don't have the anti-roll rates on hand, but I'm wondering about the handling balance - normally the front bar is more than 1/8" larger than the rear (for example DSE uses 1 3/8" up front with their 1 1/4" rear)

I am running a Hellwig 1 5/16" hollow sway bar up front and a solid 1" sway bar in the rear. Works just fine for me.

the sway bar sizes can depend on your coil spring rates as well, if you have stiff front spring rates, you don't need as big of a front bar.

If you have a stock front suspension, p/n 55703 1-5/16" front and 55868 1-1/8" adjustable rear will work best. If you have tall ball joints or tall spindles a 1-1/4" front bar p/n 55706 will work best.
