Well the Ridetech equipped Exessive Engineering Chevrolet Monte Carlos SS ran pretty good today, the Ron Sutton Race Technology setup we dialed into the car at the test yesterday worked like a champ. We only made one 1 click change on the Triple Adjustable Ridetech TQ shocks all day long and that was enough to get us a win in the Classic American Muscle class today. The Discount Tire Falken tires gripped well even before the heat got soaked into the pavement on my later runs and I needed that as 2nd place was only 0.128 seconds behind.

Looks like we’ve got a tough field of cars this year, should make for some interesting racing as the season gets into full swing. You can follow along on the live leaderboard scoring that is new this year at timing.kcrscca.org if you’d like next Sunday as we fire them up again for Event #2

Thanks everyone. It was a fun day for sure. Being in a class with other like kind cars and racing head to head against them is really cool. I'm sure Patrick and I will be knocking heads all summer long for wins so I 've got to enjoy this one while it lasts. There should be a few other cars join us in the next few events too which will make it even more fun.

Car is fantastic, driver still needs some work which is my plan for this year.

I tip my hat to the better driver yesterday! Brad and I barely had time to check tire pressure before they would send us off on the next run so I wasn't able to keep close tabs on your times. My last run felt really good in the TA and I was sure I had you only to find out you nipped me by a tenth, lol. I'm confident the three of us left some time out there and with more seat time we should be able to PAX better.

I look forward to next weekend!

lol... Our cars are SO close... It's gonna be fun.

I don't think the PAX standings are correct and I've asked for clarification, I think they left the street tire modifier out. We should get a pretty good bump up in the PAX standings if I'm correct.

Let's hope for good weather on Sunday or we may be learning how Falkens do in the wet...

My passenger on my third run was Sonja, a regular competitor in her and her Husband's STX BMW. Their kids are also out at every event running Junior carts. I've heard her say several times that she likes watching the big loud cars run...so I grabbed her and asked her if she wanted a ride along.

I have thought about it yes, if I firm up that we are going to the USCA at Gateway I'll for sure join up.

I know signup is limited, is it getting close to full?
