I bought a flexalight variable speed electric fan controller and broke the adjustable dial. I'm looking to replace it with a Dakota Digital 70 Amp electric fan controller PAC-2750.

The flexalight controller has a dial that you rotate clock wise or counter clock wise. This controlles when the fans turn on. If you turn the dial clock wise, it will stop at one point. But if you turn it counter clockwise, it will turn forever and then you brake it. You would think it would stop from one point to another. I messed up! It's not idiot proof!

Does anyone have any experience with Dakota Digital Controller? I want to stay away from an adjustable dial type. This one seems like a computer type set up. If you have this, let me know how you like it.

I use them all the time, they work great and run off of the sending unit for your gauge and are user configurable so you can make it do just about anything.

The only problem I have with that set up is it "has" to be mounted in the cockpit to avoid moisture issues. The painless and derale versions do not.

@SlowJammin626: Hi , the Dakota Digital Controller is very good replacement of the controllers that has the dials and it works fine in my case and the only trouble I faced is mounting this controller in the cockpit as there are many wires in the cockpit with this controlling and it doesn’t look good. If you will find some creative idea for mounting it then it will be good.
