Can anyone give me information where to find rear drum brakes to disc conversion kits? This would be be for a 1981 Pontiac Trans Am.
Wilwood doesn't do any for my flange. Pro-touring F-body seems to have wilwood brakes, so they might have a modified version of wilwood brakes. O sent them an email.
Any other avenues I should explore?

What's different about your flange? We've done Wilwood kits on earlier 2nd gens no problem.

Apparantly Buick/Pontiac flange. Wilwood say they have no kit.

If you have an email, I can send you picks of flange.

I don't think you're going to have an issue.. The axle flanges should be the same on all 2nd gen F-bodies.
I called Baer Brakes for some info on one of their systems for a 2nd gen- and I brought this thread up. They offer 2 different kits, one for 70-74, and one for 75-81. The only difference is the parking brake cable assembly.

Unless you have swapped axles from the factory 8.5" 10 bolt it is the same axle ends for almost every GM rear end. Wilwood shoudl know that. About the only variable is the flange of the axle to backing plate plange dimension-generally 2.81. I forgot what my 81 measured when I just had axles made. Teh Wilwood tech did not know what the heck they were talking about.
I used 81 TA rear disc brackets on my Moser weld on ends for the 12 bolt in the Camaro project. Same standard bolt pattern.
