It looks like Hotels are tight in Daytona still from the hurricanes last year. I called Best Western, they still have rooms at the Laplaya in Ormond Beach, which is THE happening spot. Rooms are steep at $194, but you will be in the heat of the night action if you are there. I HIGHLY recomend anyone that may want to stay there to lock it up now. I am surprised there is anything left now.
Also, best Western has 3 other hotels that start at $119.
I am finishing the schedule, but it looks like our "official " Turkey Tour day is Saturday, however we will be meeting and parking together Friday also.

I think most the hotels around the speedway are in the $180 price range if they have any rooms left. I am staying at the hotel right behind the Olive Garden.

We were able to secure a room at the Daytona Beach Shores Hotel - it's a Holiday Inn (3209 S. Atlantc Avenue, Daytona Beach Shores, FL 32118). I booked it on-line by going to www.holiday-inn.com and searching for hotels in that area. Because it was an internet special I was able to get the room for $68.95 for the 1st and last night. ($104.95 for the other nights) Their number is 1-386-761-2050. I hope this helps some of you still seeking accomodations.

We have a 15x30 booth in the garage at the Turkey Rod Run, so stop by and say hello if you get a chance!

Wasn't somebody going to get an official registration together for the Turkey Tour? I'm planning on attending but hadn't heard anything yet. Did I miss it? :dunno:

It's my fault. Larry has been asking me to give him the information. So I finally did today. Look for a registration form in the next few days.

Four nights, I thought most places were only made you stay three nights.
