I used KBC brandywine on my 64 GTO and yes I had to walk the car many times spraying light coats with multiple directions (up/down, across and diagonally) and large overlapping passes. It took me all day to paint that car. It was applied over a silver base. What are you applying yours over? The silver base was applied to their black sealer.

HOK black base? For some reason HOK paints don't mix too well with other products. That is why they insist on their sealer before you start applying their paint.

Watch out for dieback too. Put it on a little light and it will die back. Many thin coats are needed.

Beautiful paint when you are done but a bit of a PITA to apply. Their instructions need to be closely followed based on what I have read and experienced.
