Steering box to header clearance issues.

I am putting a LS1 in my 69 camaro and am having clearance issues with the header and steering box. Im not sure if its the factory box or not. I am running the BRP mounts and their heddman headers.

Is there a smaller steering box that I can use for better clearance, or should I swap to a rack and pinion set up?
