I have been lurking around for a while, getting ideas and waiting my turn to start a build.

Little background on myself.
8 year Navy Vet, then I drove over-the-road for 10 years doing oversize heavy-haul work. I now work for the VA Hospital in Bedford, MA.
I grew up around local short tracks both dirt and asphalt. I have also spent some time around road course racing. I have mainly worked in the background in the shop and helped some at the track, in my spare time.
So I took the first step a few days ago, with buying a truck a few days ago.

1979 Dodge 3/4 ton W200 Extended cab long bed. Yes this truck is a 4 wheel drive model.
I had been looking for a project for a while, I wanted something different and as common as other builds. This can cause problems with finding parts, mainly replacement panels as you can see there is some rust for me to deal with but not as bad as some local trucks in my area that I looked at. The truck has a 360 magnum, 5 speed NV trans and manual transfer case. Main reason for buying this truck was I wanted an extended cab truck, for the extra space.

Plans for the truck -

Gen III V-10 Viper motor
w/ Kinsler ITB based Intake, CF plenums
Dual Garrett GTX Turbos
Daily Engineering Billet Dry Sump pump and pan
Albins ST6 - 6 speed trans-axle for front mounted engine
Paddle shifted Sequential set-up
Tilton 3 Disc Carbon Clutch

Custom Built Chassis
C-6 based suspension
Roll cage

I have not settled on body modifications yet.

Here are a few pics's of the truck, i got from the seller.

Hoping to be able to work on a few drawing for ideas first, then work on a basic rendering to work from soon.

Sorry for not posting lately.

Been busy with a few other projects around the house.
Including working on my wife's daily driver - 2003 Mini Cooper S.

With all of these finished, I can now start doing work on this project.

First up will be working on a few drawing and ideas. So I have a plan.
