I have been doing some research and haven't found a direct answer.
I have a complete factory 68 GTO convertible frame I would like to bolt under a 67 GTO if possible. I see all bolt ons are the same, but possibly wheel base differences in the frames? I have a 68 I started and have frame complete with aftermarket ford 9", CCP suspension and brakes, etc. In the process stumbled into a 67 that is complete however the frame has been poorly patched.
Willing to modify if simple enough but if not, looking for leads on a 67 convertible frame in the midwest?

It will not work, sorry. The 64-67 had different body and bumper mounts, and were 3" longer wheelbase than the 68-72. You'll need to find a 64-67 frame.

Yep what dale said, short of cutting the frame apart to fit the 67....you better off to get a 67 frame and toss suspension on it

Thanks for the feedback, that is what I was afraid of. Any good leads on a convertible frame out there?

Hey there. Are you a member over on performanceyears.com forum? If not, you could start there. That's Pontiac mecca over there. What I would do is sell your 68' convertible frame for a nice chunk if you don't need it. Then find a good 67' hardtop frame and wait a few months for the new Hellwig boxing kit that's coming out for 64-67 A body cars. It basically makes your hardtop frame a convertible frame and adds another body mount. Its pretty sweet if you can weld at all. If it had been out a year ago I would have done it to my 67'.
