hey guys, thought i would start a build thread on my 70 el camino project. I bought this car about a year and a half ago and have slowly been fixing it up and turning it into my perfect ride. The elco had a blow trans and the original owner couldnt afford to fix it so i picked it up for a decent price. It had some dents and some bondo but over all it was rust free and pretty straight. I started by pulling the tired 350 and trans and replacing it with a mildly built 350 and turbo 400 trans my buddy sold to me for cheap. This is a budget build so i have been saving money where i can. I originally envisioned a pro stock look for the car but have recently fallen in love with autocross and the pro touring look. Ive made many changes to this car along the way of fixing it so i thought the name "indecision" for the car was very fitting.

decided to upgrade the brakes slightly

decided to fix and replace all the a/c and heater components
