Hey guys,
Iam looking to purchase some rear quarter panels for my 68 camaro soon and wanted some insight into which manufacturers produce the best parts. With so many options out there now i want to make sure I am getting the best quality sheet metal I can. I don't want to end up with some cheap Chinese crap that doesn't fit or line up. Any experience or insight is greatly appreciated.

I've had the best luck with AMD when the parts are available for any specific model.

Thanks, I keep hearing good things about AMD. I think I'll go with them.

Just put quarters on a Chevelle from them, they really fit well!!
Also bought some Lemans panels from them along with a door and fender for a Charger.. All fit really well.

I've had experience with all of them, I have put in numerous Dynacorn floors and had good luck. Hit and miss with Goodmark, had some really nice panels from them and some that were not so nice. AMD is just more consistent.
I think the quarters for the Lemans were Dynacorn if I remember correctly, I was not to impressed with them.

Another vote for AMD. Used their full quarters on my chevelle.

At school we are using AMD panels for a 70' roadrunner. rear quarters, rockers, trunk floorpan, and "dutchman" panel. we pretty much have it all welded up now and its looking good.
Just a heads up, if you order from AMD they sell parts that are from their tooling and parts from the other guys. If the part number starts with an X then the part is from another supplier, if it doesn't then it is an AMD part.

This is good to know, thanks for the heads up.
