Hello All,
I am looking into getting new wheels for my 67 cougar. I plan to get centerlock type wheels strictly for the looks, but was wondering if there are any issues I should be concerned about (maintenance, stripped center spud?, etc) that maybe I should just stick to a traditional attachment. I am typically a function over form guy, but really like the look of the centerlocks. What are the PT faithful's opinions?

Center lock has no issues- just keep the threads lubed with anti-seize!
You going with Forgelines? Hit me up for a quote if so!

Dale,
Yes, I am looking at Forgelines. They have 3 wheel styles I like. My biggest concern is whether or not they will clear my brakes (2013 Shelby brakes). I sent info to Forgeline but have not received info back yet. I also haven't decided if I will narrower my 9" rear-end. I brought up issues (if there really are any) because I recall from reading a Porsche website other tools were required to guide the wheel onto the center spud.

Depends on the wheel style. Usually they offer great clearance for brakes.
There aren't any extra tools required to get the wheel on.

Or should I say, no tools needed to get the wheel located- but you'll need a breaker bar for their supplied socket, and their smaller socket or wrench for the small nut that covers the hole in the middle.
Since there is an adapter used it does add a few pounds which can be a disadvantage from a racing perspective.
