I hope this is the right spot to post up some of of the stuff that we do around here. Shop builds, installs, new products and hard lessons. To start with, here are a few picts of our C-10 Wide Ride IFS. Whats new here is the integrated motor mount truss plate. This will be standard on all C-10 (63-72) Wide Ride IFS kits from now on. There were several production reasons why we updated the design, the old style two piece mounts were very time consuming to make, and difficult to fixture. The new truss plate is stronger, easier for us to fab, and easier for the installer. The motor location is 1 1/4" back from an OE C-10. SBC, BBC, and LS motors will all fit perfectly with no firewall clearance problems, even with tall valve covers and/or HEI caps. We do recommend that BBC installs use an 8" dual diaphram booster for additional clearance. LS swaps will rerquire the use of side mount adapter plates, and the short style SBC side mounts (interchange #2267) For those wishing more setback, we have 1" and 2" setback plates for SBC and BBC, and although the new truss mount will be standard on all future C-10 Wide Ride IFS kits, the IFS can be ordered 'without' the engine mounts (less $150), or with the truss plate 'un-welded' (less $80).

that is a thing of beauty. Does this fit a 56 F 100?

My son and I are really happy with the quality of our suspension kit we bought for his 51 Chevy truck from No Limit last month. Thanks, Rob.

The bolt-in style Wide-Ride is for the C-10 only, it is a bit wider (63" track) than an F-100 (61" track). We do have a weld-in crossmember for the effies, '48-'74. These are available with the truss plate as well. Truss plates available for SBC, BBC, LS, Ford-W, Ford-Mod.

This is one of our classic truck chassis "X" kits installed on a 56 F-100. (this chassis also has our Wide-Ride IFS and Fatbar 4-bar) The kit comes in 7 pieces. One pair of "frame doubler" rails, One "Cross rail" with driveshaft loop welded, and four "X" rails. The Cross rail has mounts for a booster/master built in. Installation is straight forward (but lots of welding) and can also be very helpful during 'long-to-short' conversions. These kits fit 5-59 chevy and 48-60 ford 1/2 ton chassis. Also shown here is the trans mount kit (comes in three parts) and the brake pedal and stand. The X kit does add some weight, about 100 lbs, but the weight is low, and the added strength of the chassis is well worth it.

Nice looking stuff as always! Do you guys make x kits for 67c10s? All weld in I assume?
