I have 245/40/18 and 285/35/18 mounted to 8" Wide and 9.5" wide TSWs. They look a bit bulgy. Please the pics (sorry for the poo quality pics. Everyone said the S4 camera was great! Not so much indoors in 5 degree temps) - this isn't a safety concern is it?

check the tire maker website for min & max allowable rim width for your sizes.

Ahhh yeah. I should've thought of that.

I have a 295 on a 9.5 inch wheel. Shouldn't be a issue. They look good.

I have the 17" versions of the same size tires on the same size rim widths and no problem at all.

Thanks guys. The Conti website says 9.5 - 11" widths. So Im good. Maybe a bit too bulgy looks wise but I like that.

It'll be fine and looks great! Nice and meaty - but your cornering performance may suffer due to tire roll.

I love thick tires on these cars.

Im concerned about tire roll. They seem pretty tight. I'll probably never notice a marginal decrease in performance on the road tho right?

Never see any difference on the road. Besides a bulgy sidewall protects the rim better.

i sell tires for a living. Performance is lost but you won't notice it and there isn't a safety issue.

My thoughts exactly.
