Today marks another benchmark in the development of product for Carbon Kustoms Ltd... This is a test mule hood for a Platinum Series Composite hood offering that we considering for production ... The material in this particular hood is intentionally tested for various properties... You will note the seem is also intentionally off center and in an area that highlights just how good or bad seems can be recognized.. This test has clearly shown us that we'd need to order custom bolts of material in order to use the product in a production process. Not a great thing, but not a deal breaker if we decide to utilize this product... Testing with aspects of the layup also showed that and overlaps or release products also impact the finished surface dramatically... As you can see when looking at and considering materials we not only concern ourselves with strengths (pro's and con's),, but also the impacts working with their specific properties have on appearance... It's a long road to a finished product and we find it really rewarding when creative thinking outside the box allows for new product to evolve into the market place... Anyways without further babbling,, here is the first steps toward a possible Platinum Series product in our builds....
