front disk brake ?

I'm looking at the kore3 setups
340mm front or 325mm fronts
I know the rotors are the only listed difference but braking wise what will the difference be?
Might go power boosted setup instead of manual if it makes a difference
The rears will b ls rears cause I already have everything for that

I ran basically the same front brakes and similar rears for years with zero issues. The larger rotor will give more leverage and cooling due to surface area, but I doubt you would ever be able to tell the difference. I switched to the 340 mm toward the end of 2012 but had made other changes at the same time so pin pointing improvements to the added size was impossible. Manual or power should make no difference in stopping ability if the master cylinder bore is correct for the setup but pedal effort will be the difference. That's not a light engine combo you have there so braking will be important but whatever you do, it will be light years ahead of what it came with from the factory. What are you plans for the car? Street, drag, road course, autocross?

There's about a 5% increase in brake torque moving from the 325mm [12.8"] to the 340mm [13.4"] kits due to the 7.5mm [.3"] increase in the effective rotor radius, which really isn't noticeable to most folks from the drivers seat. The pads you choose and what you do at the firewall will have much larger impacts than that on the overall brake torque and feel.

That's the exact info I needed. I want to drive the car as much as possible everywhere. It will go to the track(drags and road course)for fun times but only occasionally like once or twice a year for the road course.
I was thinking going manual brakes but I'm not so sure now. The engine was built knowing I needed vacuum to run power brakes. So without having driven a car with good working manual brakes I have know idea of the feel of it. If the power boosted setup will b like my new Cadillac ATS then I think that's the way I want go.
