Not sure if this is a new product... but I paid $30 from sears for it and sure is better than the other drop lights I've been using, plus I can take it anywhere. They have a rechargeable model :icon996: or the corded model which defeats the whole purpose. the pic of the valve cover is in my garage which was pitch black at the time and no camera flash of course.

Not exactly the same, but I have been using my Backpacking/Climbing light allot lately while working of the car.

It is fairly cheap, durable, it is pointed where you are looking and plenty bright.

Just another idea. :icon996:

BTW it is made by Petzl and the model is Tikka

I am very happy to see that I am not the only one who has the luck that causes the light bulb breakage!!

I was in sears two days ago and was comparing the led light to the two buld flourecent light and the led did not put out as much light as the flour. one did so I bought it instead of the led but I did wonder how they would compare in the dark.
