I'm looking to upgrade my sway bars, I already know what I'm using on the front , my question is for the rear bar when running a locker rear I've heard a few different opinions and would like some input from the members here that use lockers, this is for a street car with a few track days here and there, so should you use a rear bar and if so do you use a larger or smaller bar, the front wil be a 1 1/8 hollow bar and this is a heavy car, 3800 lbs

there isn't any steed fast rule for rear sway bars, it depends on ride height, roll center, anti-squat, driving style...... but in general if you have larger rear tires (275/315/335) than you do on the front you might need a sway bar, the bigger the rear tire the more traction, most times, get an adjustable one if you can because one rate isn't the same for every build

I agree with Rod there's no real rule. I never use my rear bar on my car but, my wife's car likes all the rear bar you can give it on the auto-x but we either run it on the soft setting or disconnected on the road course.

Thanks rod, i didn't even think about an adjustable rear, I'll look into that for sure. I thought about getting one and disconnect it when needed but then I thought why get it if I have to disconnect it, the adjustable sounds like the way to go.
