View Full Version : Fuel gauge to act as modern??

Gents,

I have an LS swap which I'm currently bypassing the ECM for the fuel sender to the autometer gauge. Short story, I don't like how it's unstable (if that makes sense). Is it as simple as getting the proper ohm sender/gauge, run it through the LS computer to work like a modern gauge? I'm trying to avoid turning sharp corners, hitting the brakes and having the gauge fluctuate. I never really know how much gas I really have unless I sit idle for a few minutes.

I have a baffled tank (ricks). It doesnt bounce around like the old factory gauge, but it does fluctuate. I guess...what I'm saying is its too sensitive to float changes. I need it to not react for short burst of movement.
