you cant even call this red neck. the fabrication is top notch. i have some serious respect for who ever came up with this. looks like there is little to no original camaro in there so im ok with it

I tried to hold back but. DAMN IT!!! There are plenty of trucks to hack up! Why hack up our american muscle cars and turn them into trucks!! :hammer: :hammer: Besides that yes great fabrication.
Ok I feel better. *continues mumbling to himself*

probably all replacement panels. not a "real" camaro. So i have no problem with it.

I read the build specs, it listed it as a fiberglass body. Fab skills are good, but didn't that go out in like 1990???
no desert racing is HUGE right now!

Not talking about desert racing, I'm talking about how in the late 80's early 90's everyone was putting cars on 4x4 chassis. I remember seeing a 2nd gen T/A, a 2nd gen Nova, a 69 Camaro, a VW Bug, Chevelles, vans, etc. etc.

you're right RobM, that's not redneck....this however; is REDNECK...
 This showed up at our auction last week. I about wrecked my truck when I saw it. Evidently some guy built this Lincoln Pickup in the early 80's (hence the "Houston Oilers" Luv' Ya "Blue".) My favorite is the baby blue CAMO interior. The thing didn't sell. The highest bid was 35k and was supposedly made by Kid Rock over the internet (we simulcast most of what we sell). The body is/was a 40k mile 1977 Lincoln Continental . He made it into a pickup and placed the body on a 1981 4x4 Suburban Chassis. It's not really driveable. He put a tunnel ram and two 4-barrels on top of the stock small block. I don't even know how the thing idles to be honest with you.
the only reason i thought the camaro was OK was its not a "mud truck" now dont get me wrong i love mud bogging but camaros should at least be fast, and this thing is capable of going tripple didget speeds over 3 foot bumps and holes and there isnt much a of a real camaro in there. i think its all fiberglass. Not only that but i love pre-runner trucks and im building one my self. and by the way most of these desert rigs arnt 4X4

Last weekend at a car show near me there was a Datsun 240Z turned into a 4x4.....I didn't really look it over that closely or talk to the owner, but somebody spent a ton of $$$ on the fabrication. I didn't have my camera with me, or I would have snapped a few. It was really awful though......those things are becoming scarce.
Some of you may also remember the 4x4 convertible 69 Camaro from the show in Orange County, CA last year. The pics were on the site here for a while. The car was for sale, I think the guy wanted $15,000 or similar nonsense. Just makes you wonder.....

yeah back in 80s my uncle had a 67 chevelle on blazer frame..wish i had it now the body was pristine..
ya know i almost want to smack all of you old guys for treating nice iron like crap back in the day :spank2: . the other day i was talking to a guy who used to run GTO's and chevelles in demo-derbies. I also talked to a guy who used to buy darts for 200 bucks and beat them in a feild and try and flip them over with his buddies. Oh well im just thank full i've got a camaro
