I have a totaled 05 Gto with an Ls2 and a t56 and I have done the research of pros and cons of carb vs efi, and I am just having trouble deciding which direction to go.

I have everything from the Gto - wiring, ecu, dbw pedal, etc.

If I go the efi route I will still have to pay to have the harness reworked and the ecu tuned.
If I go the Carb route I can sell all my wiring ecu and intake manifold for a good amount of money, so the carb route is the cheaper way to go.

I just want some feedback from someone who has had both a carb'd Ls and an efi, and which you prefered. I'm leaning towards the carb setup because it will be more simple and cheaper but I don't want to regret my decision.

Its going in 68 Camaro with plans of street duty and autocross and road course duty as well.

I had a carb setup on mine for 4 years. No problems. If it was me id go full fuel injection. The carb setup still costs money(carb/intake/msd/fuel pump). I got a holley terminator and a tanks inc. fuel tank setup and like my fuel injection, but since you have everything except the tank take the money saved on the carb/intake/msd and apply it to a harness and computer program. It may cost a little more initially, but you wont regret it later.

you can rework the harness yourself. EFI is half the benefit of the LS.

If you decide to go carb, I'm willing to do some swapping for the EFI stuff.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am gonna stay fuel injected.
And I just ordered a XR275HR cam from comp that I'll be installing later this week.
and I'm gonna use holley for all the mounts and headers.
