I have a 2010 Camaro SS donor car and want to put the subframe and suspension under my 69 Camaro. I want to leave my supercharged LSA in the 2010 subframe. Has anyone tried this before? Rear suspension as well?

The way the front subframe mounts in a 1st gen is much different than the 5th gen.. I'd say you'll be doing a lot of fabrication. It'd be cool, but take a long time to fit. Cheaper cost wise, more expensive labor wise.
Rear wouldn't be as hard but still would require a lot of fabrication.

I mocked it up. It's gonna be a challenge, but it's gonna be different. The most difficult part will probably be narrowing the width of the front.

I think going to a strut front end is a step backward. . . however, if you do go this route we can at least get some good dampers under there!

Does anyone offer a subframe that I can bolt the LSA in using the stock oil pan? Also want to use the factory brakes from the 2010 along with the rack and pinion. This may be another route I'll possibly take.
