2002 camaro ls1

I need some advance just bought a 2002 ls engine with 60000 mile I want to know what's a good cam and lifters to go with I want something that sounds really good but want descent gas mpg I'm running hooker headers and a stock ls manifold I'm thinking about going with the holley mid ram air intake plus I'm running a 4L60E tranny with 3.42 posi thanks.

With stock heads & intake, I have had good results with something in the 224/224 581/581 on 112 or 114. Slight lope at idle, drives like stock.

you will want a cam spec'd for that holley intake if you plan on doing that. Also see what what the cam companies think what intake you should go with and if they have had good results with the mid ram intake manifold.
