Hi everyone.

I have a 75 Trans-Am that is undergoing some upgrades and restoration in my home garage. The floor pan is pretty much shot and in need of replacement so I'm doing a full pan install. Another project goal is to install DSE deep tubs-upgraded suspension is down the road as I have time and funds.

My question is that does anyone have any recommendations on if these can be installed seperately, together, specific order like tubs first, then floor pan?

Any suggestions/thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Are you doing a full pan front to back? I'd do the floor first and minitubs afterwards. You'll need to do some trimming and massaging to get the tubs to work out depending on tire size you're going for.. So it'll be better to trim after the floors are in, in my opinion!

Dale,

Thanks so much for the reply. That's kinda what I was thinking but never hurts to bounce ideas and get feedback. I've gotten so many great ideas from this forum and am glad it's here for some help when needed.

Yes, it's a full pan front to back. The rockers are solid and in good shape, but three of the four footwells are shot and also the cross braces were cut across from a previous attempt at connecting the front and rear frame with some 2x3 square tube.

My father (and I) built this as a restoration for a while then turned it into drag car back in the early 90's. He did the best he could then with the tech available but things are much more advanced now with all the great stuff out here now.

Thanks again!

Jim
