Thanks. I knew that, but wondered if anyone had done it before. The drag radials easpecially have a soft sidewall and canre. usually be put on a smaller rim. Not that that's what I'd really want to do anyway.

Have you already talked yourself out of the Mickey Thompson's?

If the Mickey's maxed at 17", I'd probably go that way. I have about 18 3/4 inches in the tubs and am concerned that I'll rub with the M-T's (they seem to measure 17 1/2+). The narrower tires (like 335/345's) leave me too far back from the body. Have any ideas? I really don't want to mess with wheel spacers or widening my rear. Thanks-

Drop me a line at [email protected] I've got some tires that might fit your plan.

I have been talking with Shuan @ evodracing they are going to release a 16in wide version shortly. IT is being DOT approved right now.....

What's the sizing on that tire,Travis?

The next tire out should be a 31x16 in both 18 and 20in rim sizes....Shaun said he plans to go all the way down 11 and 12in wide sizes in all hieghts and rim sizes! according to him the DOT approval process is very slow!

Why the heck is M/T neglecting the 17" market? Man,that's frustrating.

We are considering doing 17's but current production is for 18 and 20's first. Clint- do you just not like the look of the 18 on your car? New sizes are coming quickly. You can see a sizing chart on my website @ www.evodindustries.com or give me a call. As Travis has said the 16 inch wide will be coming right away as will many others. We will also be manufacturing custom designed one piece rotary forged aluminum wheels by SEMA!!

It's not a question of whether I like other sizes,I most definitely do. However,my pindrive knockoffs are already on the car and PSE doesn't make anything bigger than a 17". I built my car around these wheels because I always wanted a set of true knockoffs. My wheels are 17x9 and 17x13's now. Can you imagine what a set of 18's,19's,or 20's in those widths would cost, with tires? My guess would be somewhere around $5K-$7K. Unlike some of you folks,I'm not rolling in money. :rotfl:
Looks like I'll just have to stick to my Michelin 335's or my Pirelli 365's.
