Melling Oil Pumps

Has anyone used a billet oil pump in conjunction with a oil cooler?

These pumps carry a far different price point than the standard hi volume pumps. I have yet to run oil through my remote filter & front mount oil cooler. Is the cast Melling oil pump & pickup strong enough to push oil around the motor - remote lines - HP4 filter - and Front mount oil cooler.

I have run a cast hi-volume oil pump (can't remember if it is a Melling) on my SBC for several years with a front mount oil cooler. No oil pressure issues at all and no problems with the pump either.
