I am selling my Muncie 4 speed with a Hurst shifter. The transmission is currently still in the car. I will be more than happy to drive it for you, so there will be no questions on what you are getting. The transmission was rebuilt a few years ago and currently has less than 1000 miles on it. As soon as it is sold I will pull it out for the new owner. I perfer to sell locally, but I can ship it may just take some more time. I live in North West Alabama, but travel to Montgomery regular.

Josh,
Can you get the part numbers off the case and tailshaft? And the stampings on the passenger side near the back end of the main case.
Thanx.

JOSH: Based on those numbers this M-20 is a 1964 or 65 Muncie with the speedo outlet on the drivers side. About mid-1965 they started changing the tail housings from left to right for different models. It should be a 7/8" countershaft...so a lighter duty Muncie compared to those in the late '60's. I hope this information is helpful...good luck with the sale.
