Took me literally an entire year to make my wheel decision and I am extremely happy with my patients.

Wow, that looks sinister!! I love the stance! Can you share some info about your suspension set up?

Suspension and chassis is all DSE. I think they have the rear shocks adjusted all the way down though so that's probably not ride height but it's close.

How much is the turning radius limited with the 315's up front?

On Mike Dusolds car, which is setup the same, actually has very little limitation. Wheel offset and hours of fender massaging and pulling was key to this of course.

Looks great! Always been a fan of CCW, and I've had a couple sets of their wheels on my Z06's. I have been thinking about going with the C14 for C140's for my 67 Camaro. Great choice btw!!

Those are sweet. I wasn't too crazy about the kinda "half ass" powder coat job on the barrels though. For the money we paid they should have been fully coated.

I have always wondered why there weren't more ccw wheels on the site. They are high on my list for track wheels. I would have them on the street too but I have a 19 picked out for the street.

I almost went with the LM20's on my car too. I am in Austin so I may have to swing by and see the car on my next trip to Dallas.

I've really wondered this myself. Other than a firebird and cwylie I just haven't noticed anyone else running CCW wheels. From the lineup they've got and the price difference compared to Forgeline and Boze it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me why you don't see more.

I should hopefully have the car sitting in my garage around mid to end of summer. Keep up with my build thread and when its done you're more than welcome to come down and harness in.

Probably going with satin black. Always been a fan of your 67 and the streetfighter style......a little inspiration may have come from it

Thanks, I was really on the fence about just doing the normal front setup with a 275 or something. After my builder telling me that he can make a 18x11 and a 315 work with a little bit of extra labor, I thought......why the hell not

Who did the metal work to make the front tires fit? Is it the same person that is going to do the body work? I have been looking for someone for my car.

Im sure seeing the shop Camaro didnt help dissuade you either. The stance is perfect.

Yah the Dusold shop car was pretty much the motivating factor for my whole build. Me and Mike are both anxious to see how the racing conditions and power curves will differ between his twin turbo and my supercharger. That's really going to be the only main difference in our setups.

You're definitely not alone. The guys in the shop told me to do that too. It was an option from CCW that I'm sure would have looked pretty good

Great looking wheels...but does CCW not have an option to either color-match the valve stems or hide them if they don't color-match? Maybe i'm just being picky...but it bothers me. I would really like to order some instead the out-of-budget Forgelines I'm on the fence about ordering.

Not sure if that is an option. Guess it doesn't really bother me. What did bother me, actually kind of pissed me off, was that they only powder coat half the wheel. The inner barrel isn't powder coated. Apparently that costs extra which I had no idea about because its not specified anywhere when ordering. I mean, they charge extra for the powder coating already.....you'd think that it would all be included.

I'm with you!
So to be clear, the inside of the barrel in also un-powdercoated? As in, what you can see when you look behind the spokes/center of the wheel?

That's correct. When I paid extra, which was a good amount, for them to be powder coated it did not include the inside barrel. Look at post #9 it shows how they do it.

That's just crappy.
Well, if it's any consolation, the wheel still looks bad ass....even if they aren't fully PCed.

Love the wheels and tires you have. Do you know what the overall side wall measurement is for your rear wheels w/tires are? I don't want to take a year or more to figure this combo out lol. Thanks

John at CCW is great to work with! The last set of CCW's I ordered for my Z06 were 20 x 13 with a 5" lip. I wanted the lips polished and the spokes pc'd, but they offered no pc or paint then, so they've obviously changed their policy.
I can't decide wether I like the hardware of the LM20 or the clean look of the Corsair's C10's or C14's. Either way, I will be ordering one of the other for my 67 thanks to you!!

I was also on the fence about the polished hardware....mostly because I'm not a fan at all of chrome. But after going through with it I'm really pleased by the way the hardware allows the wheel to really bring attention to itself. Unlike most blacked out wheels that are just too dark and just look like a black circle with a tire wrapped around it lol

Yes,he is,,and patient, too. I've been bending his ear about some CCW wheels for my 94 ZR-1 and I think I've finally decided on a set of SP551's in Hyper/HyperSilver powdercoating.
