I have them on my chevelle. LS1NOVA has them on his 71 nova too. What kind of particulars are you looking for?

Any drivers input really, like/dislike,
How do they compare to what you used before? Do you race them? How did you do in an event? Easy to tune for street and daily driving

I've gotten great comments from Customers, but I don't have a personal driving experience with them.

Recently replaced my SA Vari-Shocks with Vikings. My car is a true daily driver, weekend 12.30 bracket car, and about 6 auto-x per summer. So far I can only really talk about street driving. Which on these narrow winding Carolina roads I'm liking them. I have played in a few parking lots, but 45 degree asphalt it's kinda hard to start dialing in for auto-x. No drag racing for another 6-7 weeks. Yes there a Better on the Market. However, for the price...and what I do with my car. Best bang for the Buck. Plus customer service is great, they take the time to answer questions. Now I Gotta get motivated and wash the car and get all the crap off from the snow/ice storm we had a few days back.

I built the chevelle with front QA1 single-adjustable coilovers and rear single adjustable replacement shocks. I am just getting started into autocrossing and found limited tuneability with single adjustables. I talked to Viking, and picked up a set of their double adjustable fronts as well as a coilover set for the rears.
I am starting to race more and more but have limited experience/track time. I hit up road america, ls fest, real street elim, powercruise, and a bunch of local autocrosses this last year. Quick shock setting changes have helped out over last year for sure. They are pretty easy to adjust, but once you are up to the highest click settings, it gets super hard to do them by hand. I talked with viking about this and they mentioned they are working on a fix so click 17 is as easy to click as click 2.
My main selling points: Price, improved quality shocks/springs than my previous set, great customer service, curiosity in a new company/product.

very responsive with adjustments, the Double adjustable defiantly helps on the street over the single for bumps/potholes. Too soft it can feel boaty, but by firming up the rebound it helps it soak up the bumps better at speed.

There are 4 first Gens in the shop right now all with Vikings. we have installed them in probably 20 this year, and the adjustment is nice. it is much better having the double adjustment even on a street car, just to fine tune the ride. makes a huge difference. Don't hesitate pull out your visa, well worth the money.

Hi Blake, Is there a different shock for dropped pocket lca's, and what spring rates have you been stalling?

All the Conversion coil overs are vehicle specific as far as shock length goes. We obviously only use our control arms. you don't need a drop pocket control arm to get the ride height correct.
The spring rate we will use a 550 for Small block and LS and 650 for BB cars.

What sort of ride height drop can these give with speedtech arms/stock sub? whilst still maintaining decent geometry?

I bought Vikings after getting some info from owners that purchased them. After putting 2k street miles on them I am very happy, I can't compare it with the higher end shocks but it blows away my old set up(TVS). I A/X 7 times a year, try to anyways! It gets driven a lot and for the money just can't beat these shocks!

Hello; I'm out in California and currently building a 69 pro touring style car. I have a TCI front sub frame that came with QA1 coil overs and like what I'm hearing about the Viking. Your e-mail response is suggesting 550 spring rate for the front but I'm curious what you typically see in the rear of a 69. Nothing special on the rear body other than the stock trunk is cut out with a SS fuel tank sitting between a full rear frame section. Car has LS with T56, Fab9 rear, custom frame tie-ins but similar weight to others. Thank you! - Carl El Dorado Hills, CA
