Well I’m ready to sell the Camaro, this time I’m sure!

Most of you here know me as I have been a member for the last 12 years, a few of you have seen my car in person and know that I have spent a lot of time trying to do this right, I know it still has leafs in the back but the car performs well and probably better than most drivers ability, the original build had 402 BB that was pretty fast or at least I thought, it now has an LS3 that actually is quite scary to me, I wish I could track it one more time with the removed weight from the front and see how it performs.
The LS conversion is sweet and I spared no expense, I had Chris at JCG finish up the LS wiring and hide everything, it looks really nice and clean.

This car is a salvage title, I know some are going to give me a hard time about that but I don’t care, I have seen what some people have had to start with here and this car has never been even close to that bad, actually we couldn't find why the car was salvaged to begin with as it had no real damage that we could detect when it was stripped down to bare metal, it has all original quarters with new Good Mark front sheet metal.

I’m going to post some pictures here along with a link to Camaro Performers website for the cover and feature back in June 2011, also below are the cars stats, the underside picture is from when the BB was installed, i no longer am running that bell housing, the current interior shot is with IPOD in it, this is with the new stereo, if anyone want a specific picture let me know and I’ll get out to you.

Asking price is $50K and I will consider all offers, but no trades.

Thanks,

Beautiful Camaro! Really is surprising you invested so much into a salvage title, but that could mean alot of things such as the car was stolen, paid for by insurance and later found....no damage.

I'm too embarrassed to make my offer.

GLWS!

whether it has a salvage title or not shouldn't make a bit of difference on a 46 year old car!! Great looking car and GLWS!!

The way cars were built in the 60's they drove like salvage. This is a nice car you, should not have to be concerned with the title. Get real. Better than when it was born.

good luck with this sale,,,very nice

Unfortunately it may not matter how well the car was built....with a salvage title it can be difficult to get insurance and the insurance company isn't going to insure it for what it is worth. Not trying to rain on anyone's parade here, but I would recommend talking to your insurance company first. I have a bit of first hand experience on the subject...Of course it might just be that I live in California where the government hates car people!

Car is currently insured thru Grundy for 90k, I had the car appraised for $120k when the build was completed, all these companies know it is salvaged and it didn't matter to them, it a 46 year old car with a salvage title for unknown reasons, probably stollen! At any rate it didn't matter to me, it took ten years for me to build and I didn't miss the money as it was a slow process, if this was a stock restoration it would matter but it's not, it's a resto mod, a hot rod, a pro touring car, because of this issue and my financial predicament I will now take a low number of 65k for the car, I could part it out and probably get that! I need to move this car!

Beautiful car!

And for what it's worth, I've had many salvage titled cars over the years, including my current 4th gen T/A driver. I've gone through State Farm and they have had absolutely zero issues with salvage titles.
