just thought id tell you all this...don't know why....

Putting the monte project on "hold"for a lil bit due to gas prices and all....but I did just get a 1983 Mazda RX-7 that is all ready to race in the Spec RX-7 class in the SCCA. I am going to my first driving school in october...and my second one in march and then its off to the races!!

Anyone out there got a license from the SCCA and ever raced at Summit Point Raceway in WVA??

I'm a few years behind you! I'm building a Datsun 240-Z and am going to try to do some SCCA events with it.

I met a guy in my neighborhood a few weeks back who has a Factory Five Racing Shelby Cobra replica and races it out at Summit Point. Says it is a fun time.

Enjoy!

sweet...shelby cobra huh.....I was originally going to try to make my monte run in the American Sedan clas...but it would have been killed by the stangs and camaros....so i decided to go cheap and get the rx7
