So uh...what happened to Specter??

I've planned on entering the Specter 341 challenge for a few years but I needed to get some stuff welded up so the car would be safe and drivable. Having a kid pushed that back a bit, but I was planning on finally doing it this year with my tax return. Now I'm looking up the challenge and I can't find anything on it. Does Spectre not do it anymore??

If not, why?

The long term hosts of the Virginia City Hillclimb - the Ferrari Club of America, Pacific Region - are hosting the event "again" this year (September 12th to 14th). I used quotation marks because it is NOT the 341 Challenge but it is the continuation of a long term event that, IIRC, took a couple of years off. It's not limited to Ferrari's and I know that they have reached out to a lot of folks (and clubs) to join them.

Ran the Virginia City Hillclimb with the Ferrari club last year for the first time, had a blast. Got plenty of runs up the hill. Best time in my Sunbeam Tiger was a 3:42.
