I'm thinking about EFI for my '69 Camaro. I got on Electromotive's web site, http://www.electromotive-inc.com/products/xdi.html and was looking at their systems. I like the idea of getting rid of the distributor, and their TEC3 system has this functionality built into it, no need for an add on system. What do you guys think? If I went with a different EFI, would I need this add on system to get rid of the distributor? As you can tell I'm no whiz at EFI or ignition systems :dunno: . Thanks for your guidence.

I am running the TEC3 system on my Vette and the tunability is great. I have several friends running the Electromotive systems and they love them too.

I will also be running a TEC3. Mostly because we use it on a race car so I already have a extra ECU laying around. But i really like not having a distributor as well. I think that the TEC3 is more high tech then most people need, If you do a search you should come up with some discusion on this topic.
