No takers. Is 10$ dollars too much for a one of a kind piece of art? I love doing the designs and I just really need the money right now. My head is going under water and I am trying to do this to keep me afloat. Plus I can't fund the Chevelle project when medical bills and the cost of living keep dragging me down. Help a fellow pro-touring enthusiast and get a piece of art that you can use as a signature or display with your car at shows.

Yeah, thanks. I love illustrator. I love your design. It looks mean. I seem to have the hardest time with getting my headlights and wheels to look realistic. I am getting better with each one I do I believe. I have been out of doing design for a while and have hit a rough spot, so I though why not do something I love and try to make a few dollars while offering a service to others who may like to have a rendering of their own. Did you do your design?

Thanks. I am learning a few things to make them more realistic. I like it too. If I have any time I am going to go back and update the first few and give them to the ones that wanted them. Hopefully I can get faster as I do them as well most took well over 4 hours to do and some took up to 8. A lot of work for 10 dollars. I enjoy it though. I would love to do this full time! Maybe someday!

Presenting the Earl Camino. From the show My Name Is Earl. The show was popular for some time and the star of the show in my opinion was the car. Which in this situation was a 73 Chevy El Camino.
A mixture of color and parts from donor cars adorn the exterior of this car and showed a few signs of the years that this car had endured. The owner of the car from the TV show contacted me and requested that I design the car as I would like.

I love how the car turned out. I would definitely drive this car. Heads would definitely turn if this car drove by. Check out the before and after pics below.

I want to start by apologizing for the time it has taken me to complete each project. I set up the list page so that I can begin working in a more professional manner. I don't want people to feel like they are being ignored or put on the back burner. I know that this has probably been the case previously and that has changed. I am using the projected dates as deadlines that I must meet. I will strive to meet that date if at all possible and if not the client will be notified and a new expectation will be set at that point. One again I would like to apologize for any inconvenience due to the slowness of turnaround previously.

I think someone else had the idea for the repositioning of the lights and such on the bottom so I can't take credit for that. The guy I did it for had an image of another rendering which had a similar paint scheme and light positioning for the bottom. He requested that I do it like I did and then change the lighting. Here is the final he requested.

Hey thats it was that your design? It was awesome! The who wanted it done sent me an image of that car and requested that I redraw it in the colors of his car. Took me like 6 hours. Personally I wouldn't go with brown, but that was his cars original color and he wanted to keep it the same, but narrow and tuck the bumpers. Add a factory styled spoiler on the back and move the lights back to the original location in the front. He actually told me that to begin with, but I forgot. There is a lot that goes on with one of those. At least for me. I just use an old version of Illustrator and a mouse on my laptop. I am trying to get a tablet to cut down on drawing time. I definitely don't get paid for my time thats for sure. Maybe I am just slow though... lol.

Tablets are sort of a waste of money if you're trying to save time. It's a cool (and clean) way to create concepts and you can achieve some really cool effects. It takes me anywhere from 8-24 hours on a single view depending on the complexity of the vehicle, the level of detail required and the amount of time I spend "designing" rather than just drawing and creating the art.

I was sitting here thinking that Christmas is coming soon and though I don't think the point of Christmas is to worry just about gifts and such it has became a tradition. *This year will be slim pickings around our place and I have been trying to get creative with the gifts. *I also wanted to offer a special deal for Christmas gifts. *Here are a few ideas that I have.

- Custom Christmas card designs or eCards for email and Facebook or whatever you are in to.
- Normal renderings, but with a special message.
- I can also setup artwork on another site where you can have your design made into different items like cups, travel mugs, phone cases, canvas photos and other things. *Pricing varies on that depending on what you want, but there are several options to choose from.

Also this doesn't have to be car related, but can be. *For example I am doing a rendering of a dog for someone coming up and I will be designing a Nativity based card for my family's Christmas Card this year.

Just a quick post for everyone. Anyone that requests that I do a rendering based off of someone else's work I cannot do. I can do a new one and customize it with similar modifications, that way you are not just another copycat. You will have a completely custom work of art that is all your own. If you want something exactly like another one it may be best for you to reach out to the respective owner of that design. It is just the respectful thing to do. Don't get me wrong I am glad to take on any project, but I don't want to be just another copycat either. I feel that I am an artist and each work I do is the best I can do for the one who wants it.
