From what I've read and please excuse me if this is a over talked about subject but what exactly do I need to make this thing run in my car I never planned on doing an ls swap well not for a while in till I was done with school but the engine just fell on my lap the engine is a vortec l92 so here is what I have and would like to know what I need to get it going
Fbody oil pan with improved racing baffle
Engine harness off of the car(wiring is my weak point) so gonna need a lot of insight on this
Dirty dingo slider adapter plates
Speedtec t56 cross member
Now is there anyone I can send my harness too to be reworked to be standalone and work with the t56 also I plan on keeping the vvt and running an ls3 intake thanks guys again sorry if this is a over talked about subject

Lots of sources for harness rewire work, just depends on your budget. I used lsx-harness.com, after hearing from satisfied customers on LS1tech. He is fair priced and is available even on weekends if you need support. It will come with a small fuse panel, relays and connections labeled. He'll pull out all the trans wiring as he did for my LS2 from a TBSS.
The Dirty Dingo sliders, F Body pan and Improved Racing baffle are all good pieces. With the Tanks inc setup, you will still want to get a LS1 Corvette FPR/Fuel filter. You'll also want to find some after market fuel rails or stock LS3 rails as I don't think the truck rails will not work with a car intake.

You didn't say what kind of car it's going in. You're best off finding a similar swap here or over at LS1tech, use that as a guide.

Or do I just hook the computer to the battery and to ignition? I know how to get it into the car just have no idea about the sensors and wiring

When you send the harness out to get stripped, it will come with its own fuses and relays. Most are a 3 wire connection, key on power, constant power and ground. The sensors will be labeled on the harness when it comes back, just plug into the appropriate sensor. Do yourself a favor and invest in at least one LS Swap book.

If you have a 2nd gen f-body, I would look at the new Holley system, that includes mounts and crossmember. It is by far the best engineered solution that I have seen so far.

Give the guys at car shop Inc a call. They got great parts to make your swap. I have their one inch set back plates and with an fbody pan it fit like it belongs there. I had ordered some gauges and they called me to tell me it had shipped and asked about my build. Mine is a ls1 and t56 but I still need a cross member, they are going to hook me up with a Holley cross member for second gen to see if it fits with their plates.
