View Full Version : a new start
Hello everyone!!
I have been in the racing world a few years now and I have been lucky enough to have met many of you from both coasts (east and west). Along the way, I have been fortunate enough to both help and learn from a lot of drivers when it comes to cars and techniques. I’m equally grateful for the “Man, you sucked on that run.” feedback as I am the pats on the back. After just over three years of battling it out with the orange cones and in the trenches of this forum, I'm faced with an even greater opportunity to race with many more of you-- I have been offered and accepted a job at Ridetech in Jasper, Indiana. This move will allow me to attend Eastern and Central events and I am very excited to meet and race with many more of you as I travel with my Ridetech trailer in tow. I’m excited about the move to Indiana and the opportunity to add more event coverage and suspension information for everyone to enjoy and watch. It will be a great 2014!

Yes I will, I sat with Bret and talked about Bangshift and I will keep Bangshift separate from Ridetech, even though Bret says my credibility might go down some because I might appear bias towards Ridetech, LOL

Welcome future Hoosier! Yeah definite climate shock (and quit the culture change!).... not to mention a whole lot cheaper to live. We'll see you at some of the local surrounding events. Motorstate is end of July and power tour is roaming through northern Indiana June 10th/11th.

Congrats man, that's awesome. You're on my bucket list of one of the folks I want to meet in person, hopefully we'll meet at an event somewhere. I might be biased towards Speedtech though, so if you can put up with that, I'd like to share lunchtime some time. :)

you would have dug our autocross camps, it was about fun and nothing else, we had every company at our camps, Hotchkis, Spectre, Phillips and sons, Fab 53, Newman car creations, Pozzi Motorsports, GTS customs, DTM racing, Etc, along with many independent racers, because camp was about unwinding, good food, beers and games, not the company but the company you keep

Holy climate change batman! You should pry at Ridetech to get you some Carharts and a nice Deere snowblower as a welcome gift.....you do know what Carharts are...right? Haha. Also I think that will be the end of you driving that Camaro year round. Time to buy a 10 year old pos you don't mind watching rot out. Welcome to the midwest! In all seriousness though that's an awesome opportunity. Congrats!

Rod, learn the names of these tires, Firestone Winterforce. Bridgestone Blizzak, Hankook I Pike. with these three names you WONT be doing Indiana drifting into ditches.
Also most people have never figured out just how much FUN winter can be if you have right weather and a large parking lot. I went through Ford ice driving school back in 85/86, VERY MUCH fun and teaches you what "lack of traction" actually means.
As for the move, welcome to Indiana and the Ridetech crew. If your around with a decent ride swing on over towards Washington Indiana for the 20th Century chevy annual car cruise/show in September. Some real nice cars show up.
Congrats from Burns City, Indiana.
