Potentially going to buy a 1970 Camaro. Talking to the guy about the car, he stated the camaro was a "1970 a". Has anyone heard of this before?

Maybe early production run? I have also seen them called 70 and a half Camaro due to a late start in production.

Engine suffix code CTA would be a 307, automatic transmission car built for export. Don't know if that's what he means (and I didn't know that Camaro folks were now acting like ford and dodge guys) but it's possible.
