As much as i like performance on a car, I equally enjoy having a high sound quality sound system. While searching on design ideas i came across an amazing build thread:

not pro-touring related but the fabrication skills in this thread are amazing. could be useful to check out how he did it. I think most of the machining was done with tools most of us have/have access to .

very creative on the install positions and such. i like my stuff a little more blended, but great work none the less.

Agreed. i like blending a bit more but his techniques are amazing. specially when you get around page 46 and up.

i didn't make it that far. when i see threads like that it inspires me to go out and work on my car. haha. i have used all the different techniques and cool little gadgets he did, just havn't put them all into the same car. if he isn't doing it for a living, he should be!

it is pretty awesome that his "mill" is a router table! great out of the box thinking. i am picking up quite a few things from his thread.
