hey everyone first post and one of the hardest things to make a decision on this product of mine is the wheels and tires.
a little info... front suspension is going to be from my good bud at SC&C a stage2 plus upper and lower package w/ prob 1.5" lowering springs and Kore3 disc brake conv.
rear 1.5 " lowering leafs with stock shock mounts and stock drums for now. prob do Kore3 disc later.

any suggestions for sizes front and rear and pics would be great

so i wanted to go w/ 18" TSW Valencia wheels but can only get a 9 1/2 in 20mm offset rear dont think that is going to work

please help :help:

Is that you Dave? Up front, the commonly accepted size for not rubbing seems to be 18x8 with ~4.75" BS along with 245/40R18 tires. In the rear, are you planning on stock wheel tubs? If so, then 18x9-ish wheels with 275/40R18 tires is probably about as large as I'd consider squeezing in there. If the '69 and '73 are the same fitment, which I believe they are, then the BS on the rears should be right around 5.50" to 5.75", although I'm basing that on our '73 and trying to compensate for the 1" micro-tub.

If ur not running a tru turn up from u are going to be very limited to tire size maybe 235 ? With a 18 inch wheel lowered to keep tire tucked in prolly not even a 235 depends on alignment set up also what tires do u want to run? 275 on 18 in rear just really depends on if ur going to lower rear which im guessing u will 255 if u are going to run it around conners u will neex to account for rearend side to side movement u can cram a 275 60 15 in it but im sure ur not going for that look on pt .nova wheel wells are small in front and rear. U prolly wont get much help because 99% of people have modified one thing or another to get the biggest tires in as possible different ways wof going about it. But to get any meats in back it will need mini tubbed not that hard to do. That is a good front set up. I believe its similar to ls1nova car do a search for his car. Mine is 265/35/18 fronts .i run ridetech tru turn spindles and control arms. I have rear mini tubbed and shortened m9 rear. What are u planing to do with car?
