Hi,
I'm a guy from Belgium, Europe. So sorry if my english isn't always good.
About a year ago I decided to buy a Muscle car and with some help I found this '70 Nova.
It's not perfect but general in good condition.
It was a california car and I bought it for 7 900 dollar. By the time I had it here, it costs me 11 750 euro.

It has tubular arms, wilwood brakes, hurst shifter, dual 3" exhaust.
downsides:
tear in bench, no radio or whatsoever, some interior parts need to be replaced, wiring is bad (connected with duck tape..)
Also the rear axle is a bit off center to the right (dont know why) and there is rust in the trunk.
I'm a 21 year old student so I have don't have a big budget. Also gettin the parts from US to Belgium is a bit expensive.
Recently I bought new locks(already installed) and a new trunk. A friend of mine is installing that at this moment.
After that I'm goin to redo the electrics and repaint the grill and I have a new bumper filler already (mine is cracked)

Welcome from Florida! You don't need a Radio, just listen to the Purr from the motor. I've never listened to the Radio in one of my Cars. As far as the Rear Axle, it might be related to that Trunk Rust or check to see if there is any accident damage.

The trunk will be cut out, new one will be placed, more dents and rust will be dealt with.

I just begun on the Nova and the sh*t has hit the fan already. I saw that the Tail lamp panel is to much damaged to repair properly and easy. Therefore I'm going to buy a new one. And because shipping to belgium is around 200 dollar, I'm goin to buy rear door panels also, those cannot be fixed due water damage.

Welcome to the board, and sorry to hear about what you found.
What are your plans for it once the body work is done?

Well I have some things I still have to do. For example the wiring. You can see on the pictures that it's not nice. They are at some points connected with duck tape and so. Also I want to install a audio system with a classic look (caliber retro look or so). because at the moment the panel at the rear window (don't know the english word for it :D ) is bare metal and the rubber around the window that holds the head liner is coming off a bit. It would be a great moment to fix that to. Also I want to keep the bench but place a new seat cover because it has a tear. And I want to place a 4 point harness on it that looks a bit retro, I think it would look very cool! A limited slip diff would be cool but it's a bit expensive at the moment... also I want to deal with the problem that the rear axle is 2cm off center to the right. Maybe a good moment to do that is when I buy an LSD, but that's not for anytime soon I'm afraid.. After that I don't know, just doing some bodywork here and there. I'm a student so money is an issue at the moment :D

Hi guys,
I have a question. At the moment I can turn my steering wheel for about 20° before the wheels react (dead center is quite big).
Now on a dutch forum there was a guy who told me this can be adjusted with one simple screw? He didn't know where it was or so but maybe there is somebody here who can tell me more about it ?

I've completed the trunk, cut out the trunk floor and the rear light panel and welded in new parts. Also the side window mouldings are in bad shape, the chrome is completly faded and for now I painted them with dupli color chrome untill I buy a new set. Bumper filler is also replaced and the grill is repainted.
Had some problems with the Tranny but those are (hopefully) fixed now.
