Ok guys, My chic is about to pop our 1st kid out. We don't know what it is yet (other than a baby of course!!) and have not decided on a girl name. I need some ideas on automotive style names for chics. Any help would be appreciated. I had a boy name picked out but it got shot down by my wife > Brock Lee Spears :1st: So I guess we'll name it after me (& my pops) if it a boy instead.
Thanks

I say if it's a girl you should name it after yourself anyway, Jamie is a good girls name.

I always thought "Kaylynn" or however you want to spell it would be a cool name. for a boy "Cash Grady (Last Name)" Sorry not really auto related names. all keep thinkin' wait.."Car..ly" no no...thats not good enough. "Kia" no the wife would never go for that. "Morgan" after morgan motor company. I am out of ideas
by the way congratulations!
For both of my girls we used a combination of family names. Grandmothers, great grandmother, etc. They both ended up with two middle names though. We're in the South, it's acceptable!

Actually, the non car name that we were thinking of is Cayla Ann. Ma in law's name is Kay and my moms is Ann. But would like to think of a "cool" name!
And I can't do Jamie, my best friends girls name is Jamie.
Thanks! Keep em coming!

Maxine Speed Spears (i.e Max Speed)
or how 'bout:
Cora Vette Spears
Lotus Europa Spears
Aston Martina Spears
Or my newest favorite (since I just thought of it)
Proto Uring Spears (pronounced Proto U-ring with a rolled "r"... very exotic. I can hear it now... "Proto, come give daddy a hug", "Proto, hold mommy's hand"... very cute.)

My daughters middle name "danell" gets alot of comments.
My other daughter is named carly anne ruth. Her initials spell C.A.R.L., her granpa's name.
Had a daughter named Sarah. Thats a pretty timeless name. The trick is to go outside and yell it. Like you are calling her in from playing outside. If you can yell it, you'll like it, try it. This is a GREAT way of sifting through names.
Jasmine is a good one. "Miracle" is underused. Stay away from names that sound like they'll never grow up. Brittany, amber, tiffany and other stripper names....

Well, Keep the names coming, I thought of Carlie last night. Anyone else?
Still nobody cought the boy name yet?
Anyone find a custom stroller place to buy some goodies or even a full out custom stroller? I am still looking

On my last one if it was a girl we had Landri picked out. We had a boy and named him Chase. We named him correctly, that is all we do is chase him around. I have 2 boys Jake and Chase. Chase will be the one that takes my tools and tears stuff up. My wife says she can see him trying to figure stuff out. He will be 3 in Dec.
When I put the engine in my car I told Jake "look, the engine is in the car." His reply was, "so." Chase had to touch every bolt head on teh front of the engine. Go figure...
I just looked at what I wrote, :I'll quit talking like a proud dad now. :offtopic:

Brock Lee Spears :1st:
OK OK You keep dropping the hint about the boy's name, so I'll bite...
I got it. Brock Lee Spears Broccoli Spears.
I really did get it right away, and LMFAO! That was a good one. I can't blame the wife for shooting it down though. I started calling my youngest son "Bunkie" since I/we share that last name of a former GM exec. Everytime I do, and she hears it, I get this very evil look. She even muttered something under her breath about killing me in my sleep if I kept it up.:help!: I guess I have to wear her down, or sleep with one eye open.

I actually new people with these names...
Latrina (bank teller) that's what I call the womens rest room now.
Carion (college secratary) pronounced just like Carrion as in "Dead and decaying flesh." She didn't know what the definition was until I told her...

My wifes name is Lynette. I, and most of her family, call her Net... It usually generates a big laugh when I say I have to go home and jump on the Net... :smoke:

I once worked with a guy whose father does some sort of corporate training, and he had a shi-thead (spelled the first way,of course) in on of his seminars. He actually refused to call her name, for fear of pronouncing it as it is read, and after he was done with roll call, he asked if he missed anyone and she stood up.
Well, it gave us a great laugh that day, and the rest of the job.

The wife and I have decided that if we have a girl she'll be Melody Grace, but Kayleigh was a close second...
Why Melody? I always had a thing for the drummer in Josie and the *****cats...
Kayleigh is a song by a band named Marillion- A song/band I used to like quite a bit.
Boy names have not been sorted out yet, but the wife isn't preggers yet either. We're still practicing...

The wife and I are in discussions about number 3.
If we decide to do it and it's another boy, he'll by Josh. Other sons are Jacob and Jared. Gotta stick with the J's. If it's a girl, Jordan.

Y'all must be on a different page than us southern folks. The process here is more physical than verbal. My hat is off to you if you can talk your way throught the process though. I guess the boy/girl choice is part of the talking :dunno:

Still no kid. Went to the drag races this weekend, had a big door slammer shoot out event with exibition passes of a top fuel digger and a jet car and some match fuel alterds also. We stayed out there until 1:00 am fri. Got up and went and walked around the Street Machine Nationals show sat and then back out to the track until 1:00 am sat night also. I thought that the fuel car and the jet car would certianly shake her up, but no such thing. Baby I guess is used to the hot rods by now! :hmm:
Anyone find anything on a stroller yet? I am trying to think of something to do to our regular one we got to spice it up. Thinkin' maybe flames on the fabric. What kind of paint will stick to the nylon or whatever the covers are made of on those things?
This isn't the nicest I've seen, but it's headed the right direction.

I would like to take the wagon to KC, but I seriously doubt it will happen being that my wifey has still not popped yet!
Thanks for those links guys, but I am looking for a real baby stroller except customized. Is there any chrome tape or anything that can be put on the plastic spoke wheels of a new stroller and not look hokey? What are some other ideas?
THanks
