No offense, I am only telling you this because you asked, but for $9500, I was expecting a LS swap….
Hard to tell what you actually restored on the car, other than a nice paint job and wheels and tires…

Agree with Andrew. I have been looking for a 3rd gen to add to what I have. The ones I have seen, mostly Camaro's for that money are 1LE cars with low miles. Your engine compartment looks like it could use a bit of cleaning up along with the interior. I only mention this because when I look to buy a car if the interior is dusty/dirty it make me wonder about the upkeep of the car. I do like the paint on the car. How old is the paint job and how would you rate it 1-10?
Thanks,
Vince

Not really in the market for another but I've seen cars with fewer miles going for far less than 9500. There are several GTA's in Phoenix right now for under $6k with fewer miles.

You are a bit high. $9500 would at least have a LS swap with a car that's advertised as "pro-touring" Market the car correctly and clean it up with better photos, get rid of the wrapped hood and it's a $7500 car all day long.

cool thanks for the info I would rate the paint around that 7.5 to 8 could be a 9 if wetsanded and glassed out but I was board last Saturday and thought I would see what people thought. my plan was to do a 5.3 turbo swap this spring and paint the hood but thought I would try it. thanks again

a late model car especially a pony car cant be labled a pro-touring car. It is a given that it is a late model muscle car. muscle cars have more powerful engines, air conditioning(most), bigger better brakes and a comfortable interior from the factory and don't have to be modified at all. A true protouring car is a older car that is brought up to current performance car standards in terms of wheels, brakes, engine power, interior comfort. I may be wrong but......

well I stand corrected

hifi875: Please define "late model". This TA is 26-ish years old.

I think age is irrelevant to pro-touring.

Agreed. So is the LS swap expectation IMO.

its not 40+ years old. alteast in the late 80s the performance cars had very capable engines and brakes that are comparable but not equal to today. 3rd gen f bodys are great cars to track or autocross because they are so capable out of the box with NO modifications(1le for example or even a iroc or t/a)

im not hating on your car. I like 3rd gen stuff(had 2 z28s) just don't think you have to advertise it as protoured, that's all.

I agree, 3rd gen f-bodies do handle pretty well. However, they certainly can be improved upon as suspensions, brakes and engines have gotten better in the 26 years since this car was built.
Pro-touring is defined rather loosely and just because the car doesn't meet your definition, does not mean that the OP can't define it that way. To each their own.

I could write a book on how I think cars relate to their definition, but it all comes down to opinion anyways. My personal hatred is the ridiculous use of rat rod, but I'm just going to stop before I go on a rant. I personally don't think that it is quite pro-touring, but its your car and ad, so you can do what you want.

UH... yeah.
For that kind of money I'd rather see some brake upgrades, more suspension work and engine upgrades and not that hood.
I've actually turned down more money for mine, but then again there's been a bit more done to it.
