New here, I have restored and rebuilt quite a few cars over the years, with good success, but finally doing a "Pro-Touring" version. Can't wait to finish, but it will take a while for sure....
I'm doing a '70nCougar as I had one in high school and it's kind of sentimental. I stripped it completely, got it on a rotisserie I made (couldn't afford one), sandblasted and epoxy primered it. Now I'm finishing up on some welding and will paint.
Welding is for the coil over conversion front and back, R & C Motorsports rack and pinion in front and Chris Alston in back. I got frame ties done, rear cradle in and front towers cut out with new cross member in. I have a Coyote 5.0 ready but still need a TKO 600, rear center section and axles.
I think this is the biggest project I've taken on yet....looks like a long haul.
