Should have put this here days ago, too busy with holidays to even think about it. Anyway there is an hour left on these shocks: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Varishock-Chris-Alston-Chassisworks-Shocks-Double-Adjustable-QA1-Koni-/191014422236

Alston Varishocks
VAS 14244-715IMPORTANT: I just looked at the upper stem of these shocks (the part that is bolted to my custom bracket) and now remember that I cut the stem in order to make it fit into my upper shock mount. I took about 3/8" inch off of the stem, so the upper stem will need to be mounted with shorter than stock cushions. I currently have 1 full size cushion and 1 that is about 3/16" tall (about 3/8" shorter than stock) on the stem with the custom bracket. You could use a slightly taller cushion as I have about 3/16" of thread left on the stem threads.

This auction is for a slightly used set of two rear double adjustable Alston Varishocks, part number VAS 14244-715. They were used for about 100 miles on my 71 Camaro with custom leaf spring minitub setup. Removed due to coil-over three link conversion. Excellent condition! I bought these shocks based on compressed and extended lengths due to my suspension setup. The part number shows that these directly fit a number of Ford models, including 68-71 Cyclone, 57-58 & 62-70 Fairlane and Fairlane 500, 60-70 Falcon and Comet, 65-73 Mustang and Cougar, and 68-71 Torino and Montego.

The pictures you see show the black painted removable brackets I created in order to mount the upper stem onto the type of upper shock mount on my Camaro (inside the frame rails). The brackets can be unbolted and the shock can be mounted to a mount that accepts a steam only. I adapted them to my Camaro by making the attached (bolt-on and removable) brackets. These brackets actually increased the shock lengths a bit so they will work on 67-69 & 70-81 Camaro and Firebird. You could also buy different lower mounts from Alston to adapt them to other vehicles, just pay careful attention to your actual compressed and extended shock length needs.

I cut 2 of the 4 the rubber cushions to get the shock length exactly where I needed it. If I switched the rubber cushions around so that the full size ones were against the shock, the compressed length is 12 5/8" and the extended length is 19 3/8". With the cushions swapped so that the shorter ones are against the shock, the compressed length is 11 7/8" and the extended length is 18 3/4".

I do have the front set as well, same part as 67-69 Camaro/Firebird. Plan to sell in near future after adapting front to coil-over setup.
