I have a D1R on a BBC, and I'm very annoyed at the oil being pushed out of the rear main seal. I've replaced the seal (two piece) and it still does it. I'm sure it's because I got a bit too much CC pressure. Aside from a vacuum pump (which I have no room for)..is there anything you can suggest to pull pressure down?

Thanks for the help

Signed,
Sick of seeing my trans covered in dusty oil film!!

What does your crankcase ventalation system currently consist of?

I'm ashamed to admit it but just two K&N 2.5" breathers..one on each valve cover :)

Any issues with oil coming out the breathers?

Not saying this will solve your issue but I also had a similar situation on a car years ago and this helped to resolved it.

For my single turbo I vent my crankcase with a 3/8" fuel line from a valve cover to my airfilter on the inlet of the turbo. I put in a clear fuel filter to make sure it's not sucking oil. I have a breather on the valve cover too. It's temporary for now until I come up with something better like with a catch can.
