Hi Cliff, I had to join your T/A hood club! The headlights are Hella H4 conversion units, I then opened them up and added some eBay LED rings.

Hey Chris, that's right! They just look killer on our rides. The only thing is that the hood warps a little after years. But hey, 2 makes a club ;).
headlights look awesome, thinking about a hid conversion and some rings but first some new coilovers for the front this year.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, it's a Scout II. I never got around to making a build thread for the Scout, but it's on the modified S10 chassis that was originally under my '47 Chevy truck and uses the same 350 SBC in front of a WC T5.

How in the world did you find a Scout II that wasn't all rusted out in northwest Missouri??? VERY cool, BTW... We had a 76 Scout II when I was a kid but it quickly became a rust bucket from being driven during Missouri winters.

It was a rust bucket. A good portion of the floor was completely rusted out, especially along the perimeter so the top was basically the only thing that kept the body from falling apart. The rocker panels were completely rusted out too. Huge portions of the quarter panels were rusted out and missing. The front fenders were pretty bad also. There wasn't much that wasn't rusted out at least a bit.

This shot is from a drag race we sponsored last season. This photo was in the local newspaper's article online. It was nice they included a photo of my car. Unfortunately I don't have any good photos of autocross.

Here's a short video of frying my one legger pegger. If I knew how to take a screen shot from it I'd grab it while all the smoke was all around the back window and trailing behind. If you pause it right at 2 sec and again at 4 sec it's some pretty cool action shots. :)
