What transmission for stock LS7?

Hi guys,

I'm looking for an automatic transmission that can easily handle the following:



Wide open throttle shifts at redline (7000 RPM)
Very fast and responsive shifts with no lag
Very firm shifts


I'm really concerned about getting a 4L80E that would be slow to shift and can't handle 7000 RPM shifts. If it isn't the right transmission, I would love to know what other one to look at. If it's able to do the job, what modifications does it need? Would prefer to buy it already built to meet the above specs.

Wow thanks - great website. I'm going to call him and figure out what makes sense for a LS7.
